Seasonal visitors

Our geese and ducks have arrived at the long pond. The geese will stick around, lay their eggs and raise their goslings. I hope I can get some photos eventually. They are so funny to see them sticking their heads up out of the field grass, like periscopes.
Well today marks my one year finished. I'm pretty amazed that I actually made every single day and I look forward to continuing on. I was hoping for a really great picture but I think the squirrel and porcupine quills took the cake this past weekend. Actually though, the long pond has been a nice go to over the year and it's pretty fitting it's today's blip.
