A parting gift

Dan was out doing some apple pruning today and discovered a porcupine had left a couple bits behind in the tree. They look like little arrows shot with precision.
I took a picture at singing but the view hasn't changed much yet. It was supposed to be showery this afternoon but the sun stayed shining until about the last 30 minutes. The temperature dropped and we had to put our coats and hats on. The rain held off though until I was driving home. It is such a balm to sing with this group.
