It's a major!

A couple of months ago we discovered the lower pond of our 2 pond water feature has a major leak so today was the day and Dr D and Sammy climbed in to the space ( devoid of water) and have dug out all the sand and edging earth and bog irises etc. Darcy was busy supervising and came in covered in dirt like a real little boy in heaven.They think they're halfway there and Dr D has gone down the road to see a man with a small digger to facilitate the lifting out of the very big rocks that edge the pond. Next job will be relining and then returning the rock edging in as natural and pleasing an  arrangement as possible. No pressure then ; ))
The extra shows the hot air balloon that was floating over the house at dawn this morning. Autumn is hot air balloon time in Hamilton.
