Silhouette of an old Beech tree. Cut Wood.
The Feast Day of St. Gwynllyw and St. Gwladys.
Welsh saints, parents of Cadoc. 6th Century.
Today is the 34th birthday of my son Greg. He is 6 foot tall and has grown up to be a grand lad.
The weather on my laptop warns of rain and it is 10c, a drop in temperature, so my fleecy lined coat proved necessary this morning for my walk. The gardens are looking so wonderful with plenty of daffodils, tulips, polyanthus, and grape hyacinths. The grass has been cut for the first time this year where the elderly folk live in little bungalows up the road and their properties are maintained by a company called Onward.
I love the smell of freshly cut grass. Each bungalow has a small front garden with pretty seasonally planted flowerpots and shrubs.
I walked from High Street canal site as far as Cut Wood and achieved 7636 steps on my Fitbud step counter. My feet are still aching from the long walks I have been doing for the last week, in an attempt to get a bit fitter.
I hope you all enjoy today and find plenty of interesting blips.
Thank you for visiting today and keep warm.
