Ciutadella

Another day, another island, another country. Ciutadella, ancient capital of Minorca, with immaculately renovated Baroque palaces. Sadly it was cold, windy and showery today. The farmers are glad because they don’t get enough rain and there is always the risk of wild fires. The countryside looked amazingly lush today, more like Devon than Spain, complete with green fields full of cows.
