Grey Heron

The young one suddenly appeared at the side of the loch this morning. I think she probably spotted me from the nest area. It was very cold with heavy frost in parts. She ate all her fish before flying back. I returned this afternoon with some Mackerel, she flew over to almost the same spot. She ate all the mackerel and flew back. I have been using Scottish caught Mackerel as it is low in mercury (it is also on offer).
