Swirls of colour

A special Abstract Thursday this week for the founder of this fun challenge youoregon1 ...... hope your treatment is going well Robert ..... sending you healing thoughts.

This week's theme is "what inspires us about Abstract Photography" .... thanks Ingeborg for continuing to host :-)

For me it's a chance to 'have a play', to 'faff' about with an image or even to 'fartnarkle' a poor image to make it usable ...... also producing colourful swirling images from something mundane.

That is what I have attempted to do today ...... this started life as a rather poor image of my paperweight ...... after applying 'radial blur', then adding a 'twirl' & finally intensifying the colour this was the result .... hope you like it :-)

March is going out like a lion ..... staying true to the old saying "in like a lamb & out like a lion" which can also happen in reverse!

It's been freezing cold ..... very windy ..... we've had snow flurries on & off all day! We did have some sunny intervals too which we lovely while they lasted!
