Fen skies

After two years hard service, turning our jungle into a garden, the old mower is at the point where it needs replacing. It has needed constant tinkering over the time we've had it and is now at the point where if we are going to keep using it then I need to invest in some welding gear and frankly it is not worth it, as the brakes are non existent, the electrical safety systems have been bypassed, it needs jump starting, the blades are blunt and the sweeper is knackerd. The engine and gearbox are alright though ;)

So we went up to a sale ground to look at a couple of replacements, the saleground is near Ely at a place called Sutton where there is a great Pub called The Anchor (read the history). We stopped for lunch, I took a picture of the Old Bedford River.

As for the tractors, the lawn ones look ok, the children want something a little larger..
