Messy play

I put cloud dough in the tuff spot today. I know, what was I thinking!??!! Well, what I WAS thinking was-- they will gently pat the cloud dough, fill up containers, draw in it with their cute little fingers. What actually happened was quite different than my idealistic vision- they made cloud dough rain, they chucked it, they rubbed it into their clothes and hair and rolled around in it. They stomped in it, they jumped in it. Yes, it was great fun I'm sure but I think cloud dough will be resigned back to a table top activity. For my sanity.
