Return of winter

After last week's springlike weather it was a bit of a shock to wake up to snow showers, which continued on-and-off for much of the day, interspersed with spells of hail, sunshine and strong northerly winds. A day to mostly be inside...

Last night I attended a RPS online seminar on 'Haiku and photography', which is also known as shahai. It was fascinating, though unfortunately both speakers had Covid so perhaps weren't at their most fluent - I think it's remarkable that they agreed to carry on with it. 

So today's image is my first foray into shahai - something I'm hoping to work on this summer as part of my residency with the Langdyke Trust.
