Red sky this morning when I got up, then it was low cloud all day. A few showers off and on. I headed to the valley today to see if I could find the tundra swan since I missed seeing it last week. I was in luck, he was on the far side of the pond, but quite visible.
That is 3 'lifers' for me in just over a week, plus there is a pied billed grebe at Miners Marsh right now, rare, but not a lifer for me as I have seen one there before. The snow goose, the blue winged teal and now the tundra swan.
The garden centers are starting to open too, not much for outdoor plants yet, but one of them has a good selection of succulents. One of the farm markets that is a regular stop for me received a shipment of houseplants this week, so I had to stop there and check things out.
Rain in the forecast for tomorrow, so I will plan to stay closer to home and work on some quotes.
