East Lothian
Walked today from East Linton to Haddington along the River Tyne. It was one of those days when I thought, "Why are we doing this?" as it started out wet and windy. But, as so often happens, the rain disappeared and it was sunny and comparatively warm. But it did stay windy.
I liked this field with its island of trees and rich red soil, so typical of East Lothian which is the "Garden of Scotland", probably planted with seed which hasn't yet sprouted because of the cold. Hopefully it will be showing green soon.
