A fascinating item, I thought.

Newton Abbott museum today.

I have blipped him before, but I still find his attitude towards shell-shocked victims of war to be heroic. Instead of imprisonment and possible execution, those who were sent to his hospital were treated with care, massage, hypnosis, rehabilitation and respect.  Needless to say his approach excited comment.
