Families united .

This photo was taken part way up the hill near our house .
It’s the first time that our sons parents in law have visited Lancashire so we were delighted that the sun shone as we have a bit of a reputation for being a rainy place !
We planned a route to showcase the nice bits of our local area in the hope that they would be tempted to come again . They live in Suffolk so it’s a long haul to come to the north west . Sharing grandchildren is such a special experience, the coming together of two families if you are fortunate .
We have had a lot to do this week as we have had 4 days with Arthur including a sleepover so have bern well and truly immersed in toddlerdom !

A Sudafed nose spray worked like magic last night so hopefully things will improve .
The news makes grim listening to/ reading , I’m choosing to listen in to woman’s hour most days at is informative as well as positive in its selection of news items and interviews.
