Dipper on a rock

This morning we went for a walk by the River Ceiriog.  The weather had warmed up and it was lovely to see the primroses, violets and celandines.

We had the pleasure of watching this dipper going from rock to rock going underneath the water looking for insects.  It's white eyelid is showing which can be closed to enable them to see underwater.
