I’ll be all in clover

We had to be up early this morning … I had an early opticians appointment.

Si had to take me, because I was getting the drops which make your eyes funny.

I had puffs, a photo then drops. Then I had to wait twenty minutes while my vision deteriorated.

Then more puff and more photos and off on to the optician. The infection had cleared, and I’ve to keep taking the drops and heating my eye balls.

When we left I had to stand there for a moment - I couldn’t see Si! I had to wait for him to come. We had a wee bimble through Asda and I found these exceptionally attractive ears

I had to go to my bed for an hour when we got home. My lack of clear vision was making me feel a little sick. An hour later and I was right as rain.

We did our shopping - saw that the new Ferris wheel was turning; and then went to the allotment for a couple of hours. Quite satisfying.

Then we came home and I sat outside and filled a couple of hanging baskets with hessian and planted them up.

Also. - day was made even more exciting by Si presenting me with a Star Baker apron and mug! He never surprised me. But he did this morning
