And if the conversation is good
We were at the allotment early this morning … an eggy roll and a coffee and we were off.
Himself was planting the potatoes which have been chitted. Yes. Quite.
I weeded the asparagus beds; the flower beds and the strawberries.
Pulled up some sunflower sticks. Cleared the flower beds next to the water tank.
Then we came home and Himself collapsed on the sofa and I looked at the front garden and Decided I needed to do something with the bed.
So I got done and started. Weeds cleared and then one of the daisies. While I was raking around I found this very pretty, very delicate little tulip.
I lay in the grass for quite some time looking at it. It’s really quite special isn’t it.
I had to shout SI then. Give me a hand up off the ground.
And then I finished my latest book. Shuggie Bain. Oh dear god. I finished. Si said ‘how was it. I burst into tears.
These were not happy tears.
