Antiquities

After a hearty British Breakfast at the hotel, we fiddled around with some minor repairs to the Duke, then drove up through Oxford to have lunch with Naomi and her friend Austin. Afterwards she took us on a mini tour of her college - Queen’s College, including this library with these lovely old books.
We then drove up to Sutton Coldfield and took my brother Bryn out for a drink.
We parked The Duke in the church car park again and then met up with Debbie and Sam for a delicious dinner at an Indian Restaurant.
When we returned to The Duke we still needed to make up our bed in the cold and the dark. It took us a long time to get sorted out, which resulted in a very late and quite cold night. It was also very noisy, being Friday night and the car park near several pubs. But once everything settled down, we were able to get some sleep and we were grateful for our little home on wheels.
