Mesolithic remains

A self-imposed screen-free* day (I like a challenge). Driech morning followed by a clothes-drying windy afternoon, I headed down to Cramond to take in the sea-air. In amongst the dog shite and plastic detritus behind the car park, I came across an information board that told me this site contained the earliest known evidence of humans in Scotland. Carbon dated hazelnut shells put it at 8500 BC. Carbon dated McDonald's wrappers showed that humans haven't moved on much.
