Drove to our nearest filling station for petrol ( gas ) this morning. Although the price has rocketed we use much less than in the days before the Pandemic.

The journey takes us past our biggest local Garden Centre and I needed some insecticide as the Mealy Bugs are beginning to win.

But I can’t go in there without buying another little plant. This time it was Aquilegia flabellata, Cameo Rose White. It could be planted outside but for the time being it will go in the Alpine House where I am sure it will flourish.
