Perfct day

Clear blue sky, still air. Still cool. Perfect conditions for a walk.
My blip shows some of the things I found.

Main shot is Viola odorata which grows on the roadside between Arnside and Silverdale. Its common name is Sweet Violet which reflects the fact that if you are young enough to get down on your knees you canenjoy its delightful scent.

One of the extras shows a closer view of this Violet.

The other two show Forsythia and Magnolia Stellata.
