Up for my wee and Rosie breakfast, wee and poo just after 7. Thick thick frost so once all the business was done we went back to bed to let the the new sun do it’s business. Everything was rock solid frozen! I will say my van has been tested to its cold weather limits, albeit unintentionally. It’s passed with flying colours, it’s warm, comfy and brilliant.

The second getting up we did some packing up, paused for smoked salmon muffins and tea, then pushed in. Left at 10:30, home by one. Overall a good time but I will never go back to that campsite, I feel drawn to leave a review for the first time ever and I’m a little bored of camping in sub zero weather.

Got home, unpacked, toured passing neighbours round my van, had a bath ( as pictured) , lay on the sofa wondering why camping was so exhausting. We have been driven to bed by 9pm and stayed there until 8:30 due to the freezing cold, so it’s not like they has been a lack of opportunities for lots of sleep!

Need to plan more van trips, it’s a lovely thing.
