So a wander through the Corn Exchange, Victoria Quarter and delightful lunch at Mowgli.

These words are inscribed on the walls of the Corn Exchange, also the place where Alice Martha Bacon, the first woman MP for Leeds, held constituency surgeries.  As a social reformer she introduced comprehensive education and championed the abolition of the death penalty and the decriminalising of homosexuality.
