April 3

Finally had a sunny day here, but I didn't get to spend much time outside. I had a walk around the garden before going to brunch this morning. Then this afternoon I had a quote to do, about a 40 minute drive from home. I usually allow about an hour for a quote, and it's a good thing I did not book another one this afternoon. I will be doing some work on the property, she wants to create a food garden with fruit trees and bushes. I spend 3 hours with them today, discussing their plans. It will be a multi year project. We also discussed cats (they have 2) and photography (he enjoys it too). 
It was 5:30 by the time I got back home, so I took another quick walk around the garden. This morning only one of these iris were blooming. Then had to put the potted bulbs I had bought yesterday into the back of the truck again, under cover, since we are supposed to get 15 - 20 cm of snow tomorrow.
I still had to toss another load of clothes into the dryer, get the bed made, then get my clothes put away. It's been a busy day, but I don't feel that I have really accomplished anything, other than adding a new client to my list.
