The Flight of the Humble Brolly

We took flight today and went to Dublin where we took in some of the antiquities at the Chester Beatty Museum followed by an exhibition of cubist work at the Irish Museum of Modern Art. The IMMA is situated in the most photogenic of locations and it was the intention to post a blip from there.

However as we got out of the car at our first stop this much bedraggled umbrella came flying across the road like a drunken bumble bee, flitting about and pirouetting on its handle at times in the middle of the street. Caught in mid flight, it amused me so much that it just had to be my blip for today.

I notice too that it's about to go the wrong way up a one way street.
