The Feast Day of Saint Isidore.
I must be honest, this photo was taken yesterday afternoon. I am very glad I did take it then, because today is cold, damp, drizzly and not very nice for taking pictures outside. It is 10c but feels much more like 7c.
I am getting on with the Monday washing, drying and bed changing. I need to have the heating on, or it would be miserably cold. Arthur  our dear cat, needs a certain amount of warmth, as he suffers arthritis and the warmth is comforting. Longing for better days and sunnier weather. 
The new plants we bought yesterday, have had a good drenching. I kept the rosemary on the kitchen windowsill where it can get sunny on a good day.
It is my Uncle's birthday today and my Aunty's birthday on Wednesday Both are my Mum's brother and sister. The Aunty is my godmother too. I feel quite serious today as it is 10 months since Mum's funeral. The months have been sad in some respects and I still miss our daily phone calls. I offer up prayers for her and watch a daily online Mass. Prayers too for all suffering upheaval and homelessness and loss in Ukraine and other troubled spots on this planet.
