A view from the Nick of Pendle Hill.
The 5th Sunday of Easter.
The Feast Day of Saint Richard of Chichester.
It is a splendid sunny, but cold Sunday here in Rishton. Although it is 7c the wind is making it feel colder. I have walked 4443 steps so far.
Paul is not Vegan but he is a very good cook. I gave him a new Vegan recipe to try from The People's Friend. It is Brownie California Walnut cookies. It can hardly wait to try one. It smells so good.
Yesterday we went to the Garden Centre and we selected a few new plants for our small garden, where everything is on concrete and in big green flowerpots.
There is a yellow Forsythia, a Pieris, Forest Flame, a Rosemary, a Viola and a bag of onion sets. I was really happy with all this and had a good browse around the garden centre. Then we had a drive to the Nick of Pendle. This panorama is looking out across Burnley and the moors. The temperature had dropped again and the wind was freezing cold up there, but the view was amazing. We could see low rain clouds and rain coming down on a distant village. So we drove home to warm up with tea and hot cross buns. In the evening we watched Genevieve.
Have a lovely Sunday, and thank you for recent kind comments.
