Tadpole central

It's now over 2 weeks since the first frogspawn appeared in the pond and I've got lots of tadpoles exploring the shallow areas of the pond. 

I've quite pleased with this new pebble liner I fitted in the autumn, they seem to like it - I think small algae and bits of duckweed get caught in the cracks and the liner makes it easier for them to feed in the shallow areas.

Today's really wet, a perfect day for frogs and tadpoles!
