Porto Venere

Beautiful sunshine and warmer today so Mr P and I decided to drive to Liguria. Despite the fact that it’s less than an hour and a half from here, neither of us had ever been to Porto Venere (very close to the more well known Cinque Terre). PV is like a little slice of paradise on earth! Remarkably tourist free (suspect that it will be rather busier in the summer). We explored the town and enjoyed some very tasty and not overpriced seafood. Wonderful day out.
