Ponte Vecchio

Early start for us this morning. Off to catch the train to Florence. After yesterday’s peace and tranquillity, Florence was hot and hoaching with tourists. We’d booked to go to the Uffizi Galleries late morning as I hadn’t been for years and Mr P has never been. Almost 3 hours later we had totally overdosed on Renaissance art! We spent the rest of the day meandering around the city and enjoying the sunshine. Train back to our flat and then a late meal before bedtime.
