Lincolnshire Catkins

Had a clear run back down to Lincolnshire today. Back so soon as we want to look at a couple of properties newly advertised. This hedgerow was glowing yellow, so we stopped for me to look closer. They're catkins - possibly willow (?) So pretty!

LMB was pleased to see us again so soon - and was delighted that we brought Mr PP's birthday balloons with us for her to enjoy further. She still remembers her "2" balloon from last August and is already looking forward to a number three one! After Mummy and Daddy had both read to her tonight, there was a call for another story from Granny C. Of course, I read to her with great delight. (She'd had a story from Gramps downstairs before her dinner, so she's done well today!)
