Windy

There was a power cut at about 8 am, but with the aid of a generator and some ingenuity the redoubtable staff in the kitchen managed to produce cooked breakfasts for about 30 people on time. Power was restored after about an hour and a half - the outage had been due to some downed power lines. The weather was even dreicher than yesterday in terms of wind and rainfall, although we were sheltered from the worst of the wind until leaving on the journey home. At least the wind had finally veered round to the south west and elevated the temperature by several degrees.

I don't know if this is the firbush, but there's an elegantly gnarled Scots Pine that leans over the entrance to the centre. It makes a nice frame for distant views up the loch towards the eastern end.
