Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

The Youngest Mini Princess had a PSE (Personal & Social Education) class today. It’s an understatement to say that YMP does not rate her PSE teacher.

Today’s lesson was about active listening and communication in preparation for becoming ‘befrienders’ to the next set of S1 students (heaven help them).

As well as his sage advice to a bunch of teenagers to have ‘unwavering positivity,’ he also suggested that if they notice that someone seems to be happy, it could be acknowledged with a simple, yet completely natural…“You seem to be thriving today. What’s your secret, man?”

I might start doing that at work. Depending on the tone, it could sound anything from just a bit tw@tty to borderline threatening.
