Inside the flowering currant

The weather was not good for macro photography, gloomy and windy, so my rather hasty look around the garden before lunch gave rather better results than I expected, probably because I took enough repeats of each subject to have a reasonable chance of one of them being more or less in focus. The flowering currant has featured before, but never in such detail - I'm not sure that I had ever really looked up into it so carefully. The extra is a furry looking bud on the rosemary, which has seemed on the verge of flowering for over a week. I was fascinated to see the texture and colour variation on the buds when I downloaded the photos.

Edit: in the light of the positive comments about the rosemary bud, I have swapped the main and extra; I couldn't decide when I posted them which should be the main.
