Early arrival!

Daughter Number 1, her BF and Matty where due to arrive in Cornwall on Thursday but unfortunately her BF has Covid for the 2nd time. A bit scary as he's classed as vulnerable due to his diabetes. So DN1 decided to come down a day early with Matty, leaving her BF at home to rest and recover..... in bed instead of on the sofa!!!!

While we waited for her to arrive, we popped to a pub in St Kew to meet a friend of Mr Ws who was also staying in Cornwall. It was lovely to catch up with him and his new girlfriend. Hes also playing in the Police Squash Nationals in Exeter at the weekend where Mr W will be going.

DN1 arrived at 4ish having done the 200 miles solo with Baby Matty who was apparently a dream. He didn't complain once. It was so good to see them both. Because of Covid Iv not seen them since DN1's Birthday on 19th March. The longest time apart!

Matty played, was fed and changed before we headed over to Sams in St Columb. I picked up some pizzas and pudding from M&S and cooked for everyone.

Daughter Number 2 was due to join us for the weekend while Mr W is in Exeter but sadly she and Baby Jasper also have covid. Poor Jasper seems quite poorly but we shall see how they are nearer the time.

Damn Covid. They say we need to just live with it now but its hard when it causes so much chaos! But I guess its nothing compared to what's going on elsewhere in the world.
