It's A Bit Blowy, Innit

I went out this afternoon with the intention of capturing the wind in an abstract. I tried clouds, then trees and then there it was in front of me. Mrsfb battling valiantly against the gale. I was going to call it 'Windy' until a passer by came up with the title in a shouted comment to us just as we were nearing home. I've given it a touch of Topaz to make it a bit more abstracty.

I seem to have recovered from my mystery lurgy now. We ventured out to the historical society yesterday evening - Ancient Gloucestershire Woodland. It was a lot more interesting than I expected, especially the first part where I learnt a lot about what a woodland is, what our native trees are and how old they are. Also coppicing and pollarding which I never really paid any attention to before. It got a bit tedious towards the end though with a succession of not very good photos of plants and butterflies I had never heard of. I should have suggested the speaker have a look at blip to get some better images :-)
