Gulls

Although sunny today it was extremely windy and cold.  These are just gulls, but further out to sea I enjoyed watching some gannets plummeting vertically into the sea to fish.  They were too far away to photograph.  Even if I had had my longer lens, I wouldn't have been able to stand still enough in the buffeting wind to get photos of them.

Tourists are just beginning to appear here.  Next week I may not be able to get a parking space at my nearest beach!
