River of Flowers

Thursday: A Love Hate Relationship

After a very stormy night, we were up early this morning because MrD needed to take his motorbike to Manchester to have something replaced.
He said the journey there was ok apart from commuters and roadworks.
The journey home was a nightmare, we had rain/hail/sleet and sunshine here in Anglesey but it was a lot worse on motorway and dual carriageway - he got home safe so all is well :-)
Back to today’s title:
many years ago I brought a tiny piece of Lamium galeobdolon (yellow archangel or dead nettle) home with me from a walk. It flowers very early in the year but spreads everywhere …

I put up with it whilst there are flowers for the pollinators and other insect BUT when the flowers are finished I'll be tearing it out of the ground and everything will be put into the green bin, I always miss a few plants then we'll go through all of this again next Spring!
Fish & chips for tonight’s tea
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
