River of Flowers

Wednesday: Variegated Pieris ...

... which I bought at The Telford Centre plant sale about 3 years ago, love to see the lovely new growth, even nicer with a bit of sunshine on it!
We had a few wintry showers early morning but the wind has eased and it was very nice if you wrapped up warmly. Temperature around 8°C at lunch time.
Lovely chat with my daughter as she walked Cousin Idris this morning.
Started off more seeds, which will stay on kitchen window sill for now: Cosmos mixed colours, early purple sprouting broccoli (fingers crossed), hops, red chicory and last of the Wild Sea Cabbage seeds - also took a few cuttings of sea cabbage too, a couple of the plants are getting very straggly - first grew them back in 2016 https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2242689199788523651 - they’ve done well as perennial veggies and have provided early nectar for generations of pollinators :-))
Stay safe & healthy and happy everyone and warm and cosy :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
