I had to milk tonight, and as I hadn't taken any 'suitable' photos for blip, I took my camera along. I took many shots of the cows - in the yard, being milked, in the paddock etc - but I liked this shot of the eye of a Friesian/Jersey cross cow (also known as 'Kiwicross cows'). I'm not sure what the blue reflection is in the eye, but I do love those long eyelashes. They really are beautiful animals.
