Sister and Co

My blips have been very people-centric but then this is the highlight of our visiting over here - family and friends with whom we have a history and committment to relationship, which is enhanced by making the effort to spend time together - usually over a meal, and Nicky, my youngest sister did us proud with a lovely chicken meal.  She also ensured that my nephew Daniel and her partner Fintan were able to be there, Fintan driving straight from work from Buxton to be with us and Daniel bringing his newish girlfriend Addy for us to meet.  Fintan has season tickets at the Etihad for Manchester City and so we were able to peaceably converse on the prospective 'big match' coming up on Sunday between our respective teams.  He and Nicky have also come to a detente over football given that she is a season ticket holder at Manchester United!  Much reminiscing and catching up on what these are all doing, aspiring to and Leyna even managed to get our washing done, and Nicky is driving out to our site tomorrow to bring the dried results back and see us in our natural camper van habitat.
