Old friends

We had a very pleasant dinner with our good friends Marylee and John, after two years of zooming. They live in the USA but spend several months in Paris every year. I worked for Marylee in NYC long ago.
I followed John’s daily blips for years before I decided to have a go myself.

This afternoon I had tea at Judy’s with Liz and Livy, who entertained us with stories of her experiences as a student art teacher. Later neighbours Myra and Tony joined us. Judy had of course made biccies and muffins. She wanted to sit outside but it was too cold.

Daughter’s sea shanty concert was a success, raising money for Ukraine.
