The Gym

The second graders wrote stories about the 5 senses. I loved this one:

Five Senses Story
The Gym

We have lunch in the gym and it smells good. The gym walls taste like chocolate. In the gym it smells like tacos. I love when it smells like tacos. I hear running. The bench is awesome to lay down and see roo do 250 baskets in one minute. I feel wood when I lay down on the bench.


After a particularly hard morning it was nice to spend some time wandering the hall and see what was up on the walls. There are some creative kids in this school. I do hope he didn't really taste the gym walls...
