A sad loss

Jo Jo Macari, actor and scion of the family was in a  production of ours a few years ago and spoke proudly of how his family’s guitar shop in Denmark St had been in business  for 50 years so it’s sad to see it closed.  I guess people don’t go in and tinker with guitars in central London any more.  There was one shop where you were encouraged to play but had to play a fine if you played the opening of Stairway to Heaven.
