A work in progress

I'm part way through the process of weeding, adding blood and bone, sheep poo, and lastly a thick layer of pea straw.

As I found when I added bark mulch to the front garden, I need more pea straw than I thought. My farmer supplier is only a few km's away. His supply is rapidly reducing.

Fortunately there's another mountain of the stuff. I'll be back next weekend for a couple more bales. In the meantime I need to get through at least one more bale this coming week to make room for more.

I feel like the Queen of Pea Straw.
