Kimball's Castle
Last week there was an article in the local paper stating that Kimball's castle will be torn down, due to it's crumbling, decaying condition.
Kimball's Castle has been a New Hampshire legend, formally built and owned by railroad magnate, Benjamin A. Kimball in 1895. Setting on 20 acres of prime lakefront land, with a 360 degree view of Lake Winnipesaukee and the White mountains. It has been vacant for many years, after the last of the heirs passed away.
Such a beautiful sight for some spectacular lodging. I'm happy I was able to see it one more time before its gone.
