Happy Pansies!

Today was a very somber day, due to the tragic events at the Boston Marathon yesterday.
The people that came into the salon today were sad, and all talking about how our world is changing, and becoming more dangerous, sensless killing of innocent people, especially children. We always have to believe there is still good in the majority of people. We pray for all those affected by this horrific event.

I drove around after work, trying to find something inspiring to photograph. It was raining, the sky was dark and gray, and I could see no wildlife, except for 4 creepy looking turkey vultures, circling high above. I almost gave up until I went to do an errand. I was driving into the parking lot and there on the ground was a patch of freshly planted pansies. When I turned to look at them, they all seemed to have happy little faces. Their bright colors were almost glowing against the gray background.
If you look hard enough, you can always find something to lift your spirit!
