Full day

Although we had a leisurely start to the day, we managed to pack in a lot. Started with a brunch in Church Street, then walked to Clissold Park where we saw the deer, including this young stag. From there we visited streets where we used to live, and then drove to Dennis Severs’ house in Spitalfields, a strange experience that involves walking round several musty and dark rooms in silence, but interesting all the same. After a drink in Spitalfields market we went to Kings Cross and ate in Caravan (very trendy) and J & L then caught the train. R, M and I went back to Stoke Newington - our last night here. M is going back to her flat in Clapton tomorrow but has friends visiting in the morning.
