Crochet Easter egg bunting...

Backblip...

It was a day of two halves...calm morning and afternoon and fun and chaos from 6pm.  Can you guess at what point in the day S, L and the girls returned?  :-))

In the calm period of the day David enjoyed a round of golf and I enjoyed time in the studio playing some more with acrylics, over-working a painting but having fun.  Just seeing what would happen in various situations - wet  on wet paint, dry brush, adding thinner, light over dark, dark over light.  Rubbish painting but lots learned, which was the point of the exercise.

Had lunch when David returned from golf then set about getting the Easter decs up as I'd promised the girls we would do that for them coming back from Wales.  I am so glad we kept our promise as when they came in they both squealed with delight and gave us massive hugs.  

Got to hear all their lovely tales about Wales and their magical visit to Chester Zoo yesterday.  

Dinner then Lewa was introduced to the joys of golf as The Masters from Augusta was on tv.  He's still a bit unsure of how the scoring works but I am sure by Sunday he'll be an expert!!  :-))
