Seven swans a swimming

We had the day off together today, so after an early breakfast, we took Polly for a drive to Southport.

The aim was for me to peruse the jewellers for something suitably sparkly for my upcoming big birthday.

Lord Street was once a brilliant stretch of shops, cafes and jewellers but it appears covid has taken its toll as many shops are now empty.

We had a choice of 3 jewellers; none of which inspired me at all!

However, it was a lovely day so we chatted, strolled and just enjoyed our time together.

Walking back to the car, we spotted these swans on the Marine Lake :-)
